FAQs

General

Our Rehabilitation and Respite Centres are open from Monday to Friday, 0830 hrs to 1700 hrs, excluding public holidays.

ABLE clients are given subsidies for programmes. The values of these subsides are based on the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) per capita household means testing, which determines the applicant’s eligibility.

Rehab

The Day Rehabilitation Programme is suitable for applicants who can benefit from rehabilitation to improve functional performance for daily living and community participation. Some may progress to the RTW Programme should they demonstrate potential and interest in returning to employment.

The RTW Programme is targeted at applicants who intend to return to active employment following an injury or the onset of a medical condition. Applicants will receive rehabilitation aimed at improving their functional abilities. This would then reacclimate them towards gainful employment.

Rehabilitation sessions normally take up to 1 hour for therapy sessions. The actual duration will depend on the client’s tolerance levels and the therapist’s assessment of the client’s needs.
