ONE LIGHT. MANY JOURNEYS.

ABLE Charity Gala Dinner 2026

Friday, 18 September 2026  |  7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

The St. Regis Singapore

Hosted by Hossan Leong, Actor and Comedian

WHY THIS EVENING MATTERS

Some journeys change in a single moment.

A stroke. A fall. An accident. Life as someone knew it shifts without warning, and everything they had built, their work, their independence, their sense of self, has to be found again from the very beginning.

At ABLE, we walk that road with them. Not just through the hardship, but toward what comes next. The courage. The rebuilding. The quiet, extraordinary act of beginning again.

On 18 September 2026, we invite you into that story.

“Every act of support, whether from a donor, a partner, a volunteer, or an advocate, becomes a guiding light that sparks strength, dignity, and new possibility.”

TIM*, ABLE BENEFICIARY

“I did not expect a stroke to find me at the height of my career.
What followed was not just a medical journey. It was a complete reimagining of who I could still become.”

With ABLE’s support, Tim found his footing again. Slowly. Steadily. With people beside him who never stopped seeing his potential.

His story is not unique. In Singapore, 28 strokes happen every single day. Behind each one is a person, a family, a caregiver trying to hold everything together while learning to begin again.

Your presence and partnership on 18 September will help ensure that no one has to begin again alone.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT ENABLES

These are not one-time interventions. They are sustained pathways  toward confidence, mobility and self-reliance.

They are built one person at a time, made possible by partners like you.

Rehabilitation Services

Occupational and physiotherapy support tailored for working-age adults recovering from acquired physical conditions.

Reintegration Programmes

Skills training, peer support networks and community activities that restore a sense of belonging and agency.

Return-to-Work Programmes

Structured coaching, employer partnerships and job placement support that help clients rebuild their professional identity.

Caregiver Respite

Practical and emotional support for the families who walk this road every day, often without recognition or relief.

THE EXPERIENCE

This year, we are reimagining the traditional charity gala through a powerful three-act experience.

I

ACT ONE

When Everything Changed

We open with the moment of disruption. The diagnoses. The sudden losses. The lives reordered overnight. Told through the voices of those who lived it, this act holds space for every story that began with a moment no one planned for.

II

ACT TWO

Walking Together

We shine a light on the community that showed up: the caregivers, the therapists, the employers who said yes, and the donors who believed before they saw results. This act is for everyone who chose to walk alongside.

III

ACT THREE

Living Forward

We celebrate what becomes possible when people are not left to face the road alone. Independence. Dignity. A return to work, to purpose, to life on their own terms. This is where every journey we fund is headed.

Hosted by Hossan Leong, the evening will feature moving performances, a live fundraising auction and an exceptional dining experience at The St. Regis Singapore.

More details will be revealed in the coming weeks. For now, we invite you to reserve the date and look forward to an evening unlike any other.

Together, we can light the way for many journeys.
