General

What are your operating hours?

Our Rehabilitation and Respite Centres are open from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding public holidays.

Does ABLE provide financial assistance?

ABLE clients are given subsidies for programmes. The values of these subsidies are based on the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) per capita household means testing, which determines the applicant’s eligibility.

Rehabilitation

What is the difference between the Day Rehabilitation Programme and the Return-to-Work (RTW) Programme?

Day Rehabilitation Programme: Suitable for applicants who can benefit from rehabilitation to improve functional performance for daily living and community participation. Some may progress to the RTW Programme if they demonstrate potential and interest in returning to employment.

Return-to-Work (RTW) Programme: Targeted at applicants who intend to return to active employment following an injury or the onset of a medical condition. Applicants will receive rehabilitation aimed at improving their functional abilities, helping them move towards gainful employment.

How long are the rehabilitation sessions?

Rehabilitation sessions normally take up to 1 hour for therapy. The actual duration depends on the client’s tolerance levels and the therapist’s assessment of the client’s needs.
