[Singapore, 17 July 2026] –

Abilities Beyond Limitations & Expectations (ABLE), an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Geraldyn Lim, will be stepping down from her role on 25 August 2026. The Board has put in place interim leadership arrangements and is overseeing a smooth transition to ensure continuity of ABLE’s programmes, services and strategic priorities.

ABLE would like to express its sincere appreciation to Ms Lim for her leadership and the significant contributions she has made during her tenure. Ms Lim has provided clear strategic direction for ABLE, strengthening its organisational foundation. She led the development of the ABLE 2030 Strategic Plan and enhanced the organisation’s visibility and positioning across Singapore’s health, social and disability sectors.

Mr Andrew Quek, Chairperson of ABLE’s Board, said:
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Geraldyn for her leadership and dedication to ABLE. She has sharpened our strategic direction, reinforced our core strengths, and built a strong, capable staff team to carry ABLE forward. These efforts have laid important foundations for our next phase of growth. We are grateful for her contributions and wish her every success in her future endeavours.“

The Board has commenced the search for ABLE’s next Chief Executive Officer to ensure continuity of leadership and organisational stability. ABLE remains steadfast in its mission and strategic priorities, and its programmes, services and operations will continue without interruption as it serves persons with physical disabilities, their caregivers and the wider community.

Mr. Quek added: “We are grateful for the continued support of our donors, partners, volunteers and the wider community. Their partnership enables us to continue serving persons with physical disabilities and their caregivers, and we remain fully committed to our mission throughout this leadership transition.”

The Board is confident that ABLE is now well positioned for its next chapter and remains focused on advancing its mission and strategic priorities. Further updates on the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer will be shared in due course.
