Record Turnout and Generous Contributions Drive Success at ABLE’s Annual Charity Golf Event

Singapore, 25 July 2024 – ABLE (Abilities Beyond Limitations and Expectations) celebrated a historic success at its annual Charity Golf Event held at Tanah Merah Country Club. With over 130 enthusiastic golfers and dinner guests, the event marked a significant milestone in garnering generous contributions from sponsors and donors empowering individuals with physical disabilities and their caregivers.

We were honoured by the presence of our esteemed patron, Mr. Lim Boon Heng, Chairman of Temasek Holdings, and grateful for the support of corporate partners and steadfast friends of ABLE. Funds raised from this charity golf event will be crucial in advancing our 4Rs programmes, which provide essential support for Rehabilitation, Return-to-Work initiatives, Respite for dedicated caregivers, and Reintegration into society, for individuals with acquired physical disabilities.

Under sunny skies on the lush TMCC Tampines course, participants gathered for an unforgettable day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy. The event featured thrilling competitions, including novelty games and awards for the top three men’s and women’s golf event winners. After golf, participants enjoyed a delicious dinner in a congenial atmosphere with live music, engaging conversations while learning more about ABLE’s impactful work. The event concluded on a high note with an exciting lucky draw, ensuring almost all participants left with a prize, making it a truly rewarding experience for everyone.
